Lorenzo's Message (Overview)

Hi, I'm Lorenzo Archer, Founder and Executive Director of PSSI. For over 15 years, I've worked in youth athletic development and performance training. One thing has remained consistent: physical skill alone is not enough. Athletes need a repeatable mental system. The PSSI 8-Week Mental Performance Pilot teaches confidence under pressure, emotional regulation, elite focus habits, and leadership identity — all delivered in structured, age-appropriate cohorts. This is educational mental performance training — not therapy, not motivational speeches — but practical tools athletes can apply immediately. If you're ready to help your athlete build a stronger competitive mindset, we're ready to guide them.

Got Questions?

Frequently Asked

No. PSSI is a performance-based coaching program — not therapy, counseling, or any form of clinical treatment. Our curriculum focuses on educational mental performance skills: confidence-building, focus habits, emotional regulation, and leadership identity. If a participant requires clinical support, we will always refer families to appropriate licensed professionals.

Sessions are recorded for catch-up access so no athlete falls behind. If your athlete needs a makeup option or has a scheduling conflict, please contact us directly and we'll work with you to find the best solution within the cohort cycle.

Parent involvement is optional and purposefully structured. There are dedicated parent segments in Week 8 where families can participate and learn how to reinforce skills at home. Outside of that, parents are welcome to observe — but the primary focus remains on the athletes and their development within the group environment.

All sports. Mental performance skills — confidence under pressure, focus discipline, emotional regulation, and leadership identity — are universal. Whether your athlete plays basketball, soccer, tennis, swimming, gymnastics, football, or any other sport, the PSSI system is designed to transfer directly to their competitive environment.

The PSSI 8-Week Mental Performance Pilot is fully virtual, delivered via Zoom. This means your athlete can participate from anywhere — no commute, no scheduling conflicts with practice. All sessions are conducted live with the cohort group to maintain real-time interaction, accountability, and peer connection.
